Vittorio Carrara: Die Bibliothek eines Kunstsammlers. Die VAF Stiftung in der BUC von Trient

Over 16,000 volumes, collected over 50 years of passionate research on contemporary art and thought by the German collector Volker W. Feierabend, are now hosted at the Central University Library of Trento. An important cultural treasure, the documents closely linked to Feierabend’s works, stored at the Mart, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, provide a truly valuable opportunity to deepen the understanding of 20th-century artists and masterpieces.

Vittorio Carrara

Vittorio Carrara (1963), born in Verona and now living in Trentino, is director of the Central University Library of Trento. He studied medieval history at the University of Bologna and the Catholic University of Milan. He has studied the history of medieval monasticism, the religious and civil history of Trentino between the 19th and 20th centuries, and bibliography.
